| Tokyo Marine operates as many as 55 chemical parcel tankers, owned and chartered - in of approximately 5,000 to 35,000 DWLT, all IMO II & III, with segregation of 14 to 32 tanks, as of March, 2008. Out of the total of 55vessels, 51 vessels in our fleet are with cargo tanks of stainless steel. Our services are composed of Pacific Ocean route, European route via Suez Canal, Arabian Gulf-Asia route, Asian short sea trade route and World-Wide Tramping. On the European route, monthly services are provided by vessels for carrying vegetable oils and liquid chemicals to link the ports of Arabian Gulf and Pacific Asia with European ports making round trips via Suez Canal. On the Arabian Gulf-Asia route, an ample number of vessels are engaged for carrying liquid chemicals between ports in the Arabian Gulf and Asian ports. On the Pacific route, considerable number of vessels are in service crossing the Ocean frequently back and forth for transport of oils and fats and liquid chemicals as if the pipe-lines being stretched around the ports of Pacific North America and Asia-Pacific ports. Among these services, some vessels are in extended services on monthly calling basis to link the European route and the Pacific route via Suez Canal, thus more flexible and supplemental services are rendered to the charterers. Apart from the above deep sea trade vessels, many vessels are in service for Asian short sea trade for transport of liquid chemicals. In addition, some vessels are in service for World-Wide Tramp operation. |
